Illustrated by 24 pages of black and white plates and 2 captioned diagrams at end. Map endpapers. An account of the voyage of the 13.5 foot sailing boat which crossed the Atlantic from Falmouth, Massachusetts to Falmouth, Cornwall in seventy eight days in 1965. The Tinkerbelle was the shortest vessel to make the Atlantic crossing and is described and illustrated in detail with a full list of supplies and equipment taken on the voyage at the end of the book. Robert Manry (1918-71) was an Indian born US journalist and sailor.
