Minor wear and foxing of flyleaves; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by black and white frontispiece 6 vignettes in foreword, and by 2 sepia plates in log. Facsimile copy of the log of William Bligh (1754-1817), Captain of H.M.S. Bounty, including an at sea entry and an extensive one for the 4,000 mile voyage in the ship's open launch following the mutiny of 1789. Reproduced from the original Admiralty copy of Bligh's log, reference ADM 55/151, housed at the Public Record Office, Kew.
