8vo. 8.25 x 5.5 inches. 164 pp. Bound in original beige cloth with blue titles and pictorial, in block on front board in unpriced pictorial dust wrapper, which has foxing and small chips at head and tail of sunned spine. Slight wear to extremities, including head and tail of spine and browning of flyleaves; otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by colour frontispiece, by 8 pages of black and white plates (37a is not listed), and by 38 text figures, including whole page. Decorated by title page vignette.
