8vo. 5.75 x 8.75 inches. 69 + iv-xiii + [iv] + 222 pp. + [13] +[1]. Half title. Bound in original red cloth, gilt in pictorial dust wrapper. Spine sunned but otherwise in fine condition. Illustrated by 23 plates, including 2 portrait frontispieces, facsimiles of original title page and dedication, plan of Faversham, 17 other plates and one engraving in text. Good facsimile reprint of the 1774 edition, with new introductory material, now long out of print itself.
