Minor wear to extremities and light sunning of spine; otherwise a very good clean. 1938 presentation inscription signed by author on first free endpaper. Illustrated by tipped in colour frontispiece. A patriotic souvenir in prose and verse of the 1937 coronation. By Cumberland Clark (1862-1941), 'The Bard of Bournemouth,' who has been considered to be 'England's worst poet,' losing his life in the Bournemouth air raid of April 1941. At end of the book is a long list of his publications (Dorset's McGonagall, dorseltife.co.uk website).
