8vo. 9.5 x 8 inches. 152 + [1] pp. In pictorial card wrappers, with a little wear to extremities, including edge and head of spine, which has small missing section. A little ink underlining on one page, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 5 text figures in Technical Terminology section and by 61 black and white photographs of the catalogue entries. Decorated by title page vignette. Catalogue of the Tehran Rug Society exhibition of 1976, held at the Iran America Society, whose cultural centre was closed down in the late seventies. John T. Wertime (1941-2022) was an authority on Asian textiles, who lived in Iran for nine years (Amazon website).
