Foxing largely confined to flyleaves and edges; otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by 16 colour plates and by 3 text figures. King Penguin edition by the artist, Nina Macpherson Davies (1881-1965) of her copy illustrations of Egyptian paintings, made on expeditions with her husband, fellow Egyptologist, Norman de Garis Davies.
