Notes

This Whig tract has sometimes been attributed to Viscount Bolingbroke or Sir Robert Walpole but ESTC considers these to be in error and also states that the name of the bookseller is fictitious. Four versions of it appeared in 1714; this one is distinguished by the postscript starting in the middle of p. 30 and by being priced at 3d rather than 6d. A scarce pamphlet; ESTC records only six copies in UK libraries and three in the US.
